University of Houston offers new planning tool for businesses
The University of Houston Small Business Development Center is now offering a new interactive tool for businesses seeking guidance for starting up and growth development.
According to a UH press release, business advisors at the center were recently certified in the use of GrowthWheel, a program designed to help entrepreneurs during each phase of company development.
This program is being offered at no cost and will provide users a tool that is easy to understand, using visual frameworks, graphic worksheets and detailed checklists for making smart and effective business decisions, according to the release.
Business leaders interested in using the GrowthWheel program may contact Roberta Skebo at 713-752-8444 or visit www.sbdc.uh.edu.
The UH Small Business Development Center is at 2302 Fannin, Suite 200, Houston.
The center provides consulting and training services to businesses in 32 counties in Southeast Texas. It is funded, in part, through a cooperation agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
