D & D Medic Services now offering driving course for Houston tweens

D & D Medic Services, Houston's source for certification training for adults and teenagers, is now offering the Safe New Attitude Program (SNAP) driving course for tweens. SNAP is a four-hour online course for high-risk drivers, whether they are young or just new. Designed specifically for novice drivers, this program puts emphasis on risk-taking and similar issues that new drivers deal with. One issue that can be used as an example would be teaching new drivers how to deal with distractions, such as texting.

The SNAP driver-improvement course will be instructed by licensed drivers who will help younger drivers learn about the effects that mental state and attitudes have on keeping focus on driving. This program will benefit drivers between the ages of 16 and 25 who have exhibited high-risk driving tendencies, as evidenced by collisions and citations, and drivers who have never attended a driver's education program and could benefit by learning safer driving strategies, better decision-making and the effects of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

D & D Medic Services offers other courses for young people, such as courses in safe and responsible babysitting and cell phones.

Those interested in SNAP or any other of the training courses offered by D & D Medic Services can call 713-459-4488, visit d-dmedicservices.com or take a tour at its Houston office, located at 21515 Trilby Way in Houston.
