Morton Masonic Hall centennial celebration set for Feb. 16
The Morton Masonic Hall centennial celebration, sponsored by the Morton Masonic Lodge No. 72, will be held Saturday, Feb. 16.
The events will start at 10 a.m. and are open to the public.
According to a press release from the lodge, "The activities will take place at two venues. The ceremonies at Morton Cemetery will be presided over by Right Worshipful Vernon Burke of Lake Jackson, past grand master of Masons in Texas. The ceremonies at the lodge hall will conducted by Right Worshipful Brian Dodson of Missouri City, past grand master of Masons in Texas. As part of this celebration, the lodge is publishing a historical volume of the lodge."
The Morton Masonic Lodge No. 72 is at 211 Morton St., Richmond.
