State of Charter Schools luncheon scheduled for Feb. 14

The Greater Houston Partnership has scheduled its State of Charter Schools luncheon for Thursday, Feb. 14.

The event will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at JW Marriot Houston, 5150 Westheimer Road, Houston.

According to a Greater Houston Partnership release, "The first of its kind, the luncheon will focus on four of the Houston region's most dynamic and innovative public charter schools: Harmony Public Schools, KIPP Houston Public Schools, Southwest Schools and YES Prep Public Schools."

A reception will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by registration and networking at 11:30-noon and the luncheon at noon.

Cost to attend is $65 for partnership members, $90 for nonmembers and $45 for teachers.
