Runner no longer dreads going distance
A: Probably Ray Lewis, even though he plays football. Watching him, he’s like the definition of YouTube. He’s just been doing it for so long, and I really look up to him.
Q: What are you most proud of as an athlete?
A: I went from not liking to run long distances at all to really trying hard and accomplishing what I never thought I would be good at. It was a good self-esteem booster.
Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: That would be between my coach and my friends. My friends are constantly improving in their sports, so they’re always getting out there and well-known. My coach is always in the weight room lifting weights with me at the same time, so that really tells me to work harder and train harder.
