John H. Reagan High School participates in UIL Academics Winter Fest competition
John H. Reagan High School participated in the UIL Academics Winter Fest held Monday, Jan. 14.
According to a high school press release, "John H. Reagan High School is again in high spirits, finishing second behind Carnegie Vanguard and ahead of Westside High School in the recent UIL Academics Winter Fest competition. Reagan's calculator applications, mathematics, number sense, Spanish prose and poetry and Spanish TV commercial teams emerged victorious. In the math events, the formidable trio of Dante Vela, Argenis Uresti and Giovanni Gama helped Reagan trounce other schools, while Monica Govea and Dayana Flores proved unbeatable in the Spanish events."
