Heights incident report, Jan. 1

The Houston Police Department reported the following incidents Tuesday, Jan. 1:

At 3:50 p.m., an EMS event occurred at Colorado Street and Weber Street.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 4:37 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to East 12th Street and Arlington Street.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 6:53 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to East 35th Street and Bella Vista Street.

An EMS event was reported at 3:30 p.m. at Heights Boulevard and East 20th Street.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 7:16 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Heights Boulevard and West 7th Street.

A smoke detector incident was reported at 3:47 p.m. at Herkimer Street and West 12th Street.

An EMS event was reported at 11:50 a.m. at Martin Road and Oak Forest Drive.

At 11:55 a.m., an EMS event occurred at Martin Road and Oak Forest Drive.

An EMS event was reported at 8:41 a.m. at Richelieu Lane and Oak Forest Drive.

A fire event was reported at 8:41 a.m. at Richelieu Lane and Oak Forest Drive.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 4:54 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Riesner Street and Washington Avenue.

At 4:59 a.m., an EMS event occurred at Riesner Street and Washington Avenue.

An EMS event was reported at 2:32 a.m. at Sherwood Lane and Mangum Road.

An automatic alarm incident was reported at 12:53 a.m. at West 11th Street and Seamist Drive.

An EMS event was reported at 3:45 p.m. at West 34th Street and Helberg Road.

An EMS event was reported at 11:20 p.m. at Bethlehem Street and Deer Lodge Drive.

An EMS event was reported at 8:18 p.m. at Detering Street and Eigel Street.

An EMS event was reported at 11:18 p.m. at Houston Avenue and East Woodland Street.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 5:54 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Ovid Street and Sabine Street.

A call regarding an EMS event was received at 11:47 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to West 34th Street and Helberg Road.

At 2:22 a.m., an unknown accident occurred in the 100 block of Heights Boulevard.

At 1:43 a.m., a minor accident occurred in the 1900 block of West 14th Street.

A nonfatal major accident was reported at 3:54 a.m. in the 300 block of Delz Street.

At 2:26 a.m., a minor accident occurred in the 3800 block of Sherwood Lane.

At 3:03 a.m., a nonfatal major accident occurred in the 4800 block of Washington Avenue.

A call regarding a traffic hazard incident was received at 12:46 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to the 5000 block of Center Street.

A call regarding a nonfatal major accident was received at 2:40 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to the 800 block of Adele Street.

A minor accident was reported at 6:54 p.m. in the 800 block of Shepherd Drive.
