Museum Experience Zone 1 walking tour set for Jan. 26

The Houston Museum District will offer a walking tour of its Zone 1 locations Saturday, Jan. 26.

According to a press release from the Houston Museum District, "The Museum Experience features four walkable 'zones' to help visitors navigate through the area and learn more about all 19 museums in a more personal way. On the last Saturday of January, April, July and September, each zone will showcase a handful of museums at a time, complete with special programming, pedicabs in select zones and food trucks. Zone 1 will feature The Menil Collection (Cy Twombly, Richmond Hall), Rothko Chapel and Houston Center for Photography."

The Museum Experience events will happen during normal museum hours. Visitors may walk or bike from one museum to the next venue in that quadrant.

Ticketed museums will be charging admission fees unless otherwise stated.
