Houston Junior Forum gives scholarship to Community House Preschool grad Jimenez
Several graduates of the Community House Preschool, including Brittany Jimenez, receive their scholarships from the Houston Junior Forum.
Brittany Jimenez, a graduate of the Community House Preschool, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Houston Junior Forum.
Jimenez received the honor from Kathleen O'Connor of the Houston Junior Forum.
The Houston Junior Forum, which used to own the preschool, distributes this scholarship to graduates of the preschool. According to a forum press release, "Each preschool graduate is eligible to receive $2,000 per year at a college or university of their choice. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and take a minimum of 12 hours to continue to receive the stipend."
Jimenez is currently attending the University of Houston and plans to major in biology.
