The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Sunday, Jan. 6 to Wednesday Jan. 9:

A Houston man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content over .08 after being arrested Jan. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 28, resides in Tulane. He was booked Jan. 6.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 32-year-old male lives in Houston.

A Houston man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of evading arrest or detention after being arrested Jan. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 26, was booked Jan. 7.

A man was arrested on a charge of assault of a family member Jan. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 22-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 6 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides in Eurpoa.

A Houston woman was arrested and charged with prostitution second offense Jan. 7, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 32, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 8 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. She resides in Link.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of trespassing on a property or in a building without forcible entry, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 62-year-old male lives in Houston.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content over .08 on Jan. 7, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 32, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 8 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides on Heights Boulevard.

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of trespassing on a property or in a building without forcible entry after being arrested Jan. 7, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 33, resides in Spell Street. He was booked Jan. 7.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of driving with expired registration, expired inspection certificate and violating child support, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 42-year-old male lives in Houston.

A man was arrested on a charge of unsafe speed Jan. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 37-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 8 and is facing a class C misdemeanor charge. He resides in Crosstimbers.

A man was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana four ounces to five pounds Jan. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 36-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 8 and is facing a state felony charge. He resides in Rutland.
