Houston Fire Department seeking trainees
The Houston Fire Department is seeking non-certified firefighter trainees.
According to a Houston Fire Department press release, "Interested individuals do not need a firefighter or an emergency medical technician certification to apply. The training is divided into several components and is approximately 38 weeks in length. All applicants must be between the ages of 19 and 36. Applicants must also have 60 transferable college credit hours with a grade of C or better or at least two years of full-time active military service with an honorable discharge."

The posting will close Tuesday, Feb. 12.
