OKRA Charity Saloon set to open
OKRA Charity Saloon is scheduled to open in Houston.
According to a saloon release, a group of independent restaurant and bar owners have launched a unique concept encapsulated at the bar. The release notes that 100 percent of the proceeds raised at the saloon are donated to charity. The Organized Kollaboration on Restaurant Affairs, or OKRA, opened the OKRA Charity Saloon in late 2012. Located near historic Market Square Park in the former Red Cat Jazz Cafe, the saloon is hoping to draw more nightlife patrons to the northern end of Downtown.
OKRA Charity Saloon is at 924 Congress St.
