DAmico's offers new signature drink for the new year

DAmico's Italian Market Caf in the South Heights entertainment district added a full bar and introduced a signature cocktail named the DAlimon, it was recently announced.

DAmico's Italian Market Caf in the South Heights entertainment district added a full bar and introduced a signature cocktail named the DAlimon, it was recently announced.

According to a press release from DAmico's, "the drink is served in a martini glass and combines Texas vodka, Italian lemoncello and Amaretto and DAmico's house-made sangra. The drink represents all of the cultural references that have made the food at the restaurant popular."

DeAmico's Italian Market Caf, which is at 2802 White Oak, is a full-service restaurant that specializes in authentic Northern Italian and Southern Sicilian cuisine. It is also an Italian Deli and import food market. The restaurant also offers catering for special events.

The menu features hand-made sandwiches, fire-roasted pizzas, daily seafood specials, soups, salads and house favorites such as Crawfish Ravioli, house-made pastas and Snapper DAmico and Tiramisu.
