HHA's Urban Animals in Houston Heights event scheduled for Jan. 14
The Houston Heights City Hall and Fire Station will host the Houston Heights Association's Urban Animals in Houston Heights event at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, it was recently announced.
According to a press release from Houston Heights Association, "humans may accompany their socialized, vaccinated and leashed pups for an evening featuring companion-animal-related giveaways and treats at booths by local business members and organizations that are both informative and fun. There will be a couple of speakers from area animal welfare and rescue groups to briefly talk about how you may help with efforts to control animal overpopulation and end abuse and neglect. Food and refreshments will be served."
The Houston Heights City Hall and Fire Station is at 107 W. 12th St., Houston.
