Soccer player mulls career in the pros
A: My dad. He inspires me a lot because he works a lot for us to do well in school, and he pushes me a lot. Like when I’m playing sports, he’s there for me.
Q: Do you have any plans to continue playing sports after high school?
A: Yes, right now I have applied to Lamar University. I want to play college soccer. After I graduate, I want to maybe pursue playing professional soccer.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: My goal is to win first in district in soccer. For track, I want to go to regionals, and after regionals, I want to go to state in the two miles and the mile run.
Q: How has your coach made you a better player?
A: He motivates me to do better, and he is honest with me about everything.
