New Hope Housing opens a new affordable housing property

New Hope Housing opened a new affordable housing property with a ribbon cutting Friday, Nov. 2.
The new property is the sixth multifamily affordable housing property in the area. It has 160 units of single room occupancy for adults living alone on limited incomes.
New Hope Housing is committed to providing a model for affordable, debt-free SRO housing in the state. The organization has set a goal of housing 1,000 adults.
The organization began with seed money from the Christ Church Cathedral-Episcopal.
The new property is at 4415 Perry, Houston. It is near the University of Houston and Texas Southern University.
