The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Nov. 11-14:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class B misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 4 under 28 grams, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 31-year-old male lives in Houston.

A Houston man is facing a 2nd degree felony charge of aggravated assault of a family member after being arrested on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 37, resides in Cabell. He was booked on Nov. 12.

A Houston man is facing a class A misdemeanor charge of evading arrest or detention after being arrested on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 28, resides in Tabor St. He was booked on Nov. 12.

A Houston man is facing class B misdemeanor class A misdemeanor charges of theft between $50 and $500 and possession of a penalty group 3 controlled substance (less than 28 grams) after being arrested on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 23, resides in Highland. He was booked on Nov. 12.

A man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of a weapon on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 27-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Nov. 12 and is facing a 3rd degree felony charge. He resides in Bizerte.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams) on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 25, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Nov. 12 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. He resides in W. 24th.

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated first offense blood alcohol concentration .08 after being arrested on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 43, resides in Julian. He was booked on Nov. 11.

A man was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault of a family member on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 49-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Nov. 11 and is facing a 2nd degree felony charge. He resides in Julian.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance), failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance and driving with expired registration on Nov. 11, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 47, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Nov. 11 and is facing class B misdemeanor and class C misdemeanor charges. He resides in Acme.

A man was arrested on a charge of assault of a family member on Nov. 12, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 30-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Nov. 13 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides in Roy.
