ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Joseph Dehn
Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: Tim Tebow. I’m a Florida native, and that’s always been my team. He’s a great role model both on and off the field.
Q: What’s your favorite sports team?
A: The Miami Dolphins. I was born in Miami, and I’ve always been a die-hard fan.
Q: Do you know where you want to play in college?
A: I’m not sure. Probably somewhere based in Florida, just to go back to the hometown and the family. I’ve had a few looks from other places, but I think I’d be most comfortable in Florida.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish this season?
A: You always want to do better than you did the season before, so advancing to the third round (of the playoffs) would be great.
Q: Who is your greatest inspiration?
A: My sister. She’s gone through the same things I’ve gone through, and she’s done well. She’s a Houston police officer now.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A: I try to stay quiet before a game. You won’t find me being one of the louder guys before the game.
