Fire reported in Houston, Nov. 2
The Houston Fire Department responded to a fire that occurred 5300 block of Terry in Houston at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.
Houston Fire Department was the primary department on the scene. According to a press release issued by the department, firefighters responded to the scene within three minutes of receiving the call and found a shed and the backside of four houses on fire. Sixty firefighters responded to the scene and the fire was tapped out around 4 p.m. No injuries were reported, but the shed was completely destroyed and the houses suffered major damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The incident is under investigation by arson investigators with the department.
