Chevron to contribute funds to Houston ISD schools
Chevron Products Company has announced that it will offer to donate up to $1 million to fund classroom projects at public schools throughout Harris County for every eight-plus gallon purchase at participating Chevron and Texaco gas stations.
According to the press release, donations will support proposed projects listed on the Donors Choose website, which teachers can submit now through Nov. 30.
Individuals can participate by making a fuel purchase of eight gallons or more at Chevron and Texaco stations during the month of October, or making an individual donation through the Donors Choose website.
