Donor visits Small Steps Nurturing Center
Representatives of Spindletop Charities, Inc. paid a visit to the Jensen Campus of Small Steps Nurturing Center in Houston on Sept. 14.
The charity organization has supported Small Steps since 1998, according to a press release.
Spindletop funds have helped the center purchase new vans, technology and recently helped with the renovation of the playground. It also donated funds for The Spindletop Charities Student Assessment and Therapy Room, which will be used for cognitive testing, speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy.
Small Steps Nurturing Center is a nonprofit Christian organization that serves economically at-risk children from Houston's inner-city, according to the release.
Spindletop Charities, also known as Spindletop International, is a not-for-profit corporation benefiting area youth charities while promoting goodwill and fellowship within the oil and gas industry.
The Small Steps Jensen Campus is located at 2902 Jensen Drive in Houston.
