Author and The New York Times columnist Ross Douthat will present a lecture at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Jones Hall of the University of St. Thomas.
The lecture is titled Budget Wars and Culture Wars: What the 2012 Election Means for the American Future and will discuss the relationship between religion and politics.
The event is free and open to the public, and no reservations are necessary. Parking is available in the Moran Center garage for $2.
The University of St. Thomas, dedicated to educating leaders of faith and character, is a private institution committed to the liberal arts and to the religious, ethical and intellectual tradition of Catholic higher education.
