Houston Reagan High School girls volleyball team knocks off Houston Austin
The Houston Reagan High School girls volleyball team is still undefeated in district play.
The Bulldogs knocked off Houston Austin in three sets Sept. 12, winning 25-18, 25-12 and 25-19. Reagan improved to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in the district.
Austin dropped to 3-5 overall and 3-1 in district action.
LaMonica Peacock tallied 23 kills for the Bulldogs. Canae Thomas came through with six kills for the Mustangs.
Reagan will play on the road against Baytown Lee at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 and will take on Houston Waltrip at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. Also, the Bulldogs will play on the road against Milby at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.
