Ashok Nayyar named to Endeavour International Corp. board

Ashok Nayyar has been named to the board of directors at Endeavour International Corp. in Houston.

Nayyar served as a chief investment officer of Cyan Partners LP, according to a press release from Endeavour.

Nayyar was co-head of Global Leveraged Finance at Morgan Stanley. Prior to this, he served in the Leveraged Finance groups at Citigroup and Salomon Brothers, the release said.

Nayyar received his B.A. in economics from Columbia University and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Endeavour International Corp. is an energy company dealing in energy reserves in the North Sea and the United States. Its offices are at 811 Main St., Houston.
