Fall kickball, flag football, dodgeball registration open
Grown Up Sports Leagues is offering flag football, dodgeball and kickball programs for the fall.
Wednesday night coed kickball will begin Wednesday, Sept. 5. Games will be played from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday nights at Montie Beach, located at 915 Northwood St., in Houston. The cost is $50 per person or $450 for a 12-person team. The season lasts eight weeks with playoffs to follow. A minimum of four females must be on the field at all times.
Tuesday night coed flag football starts Tuesday, Sept. 18. Games are played from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday nights at Brentwood Park, located at 13220 Landmark, in Houston. The eight-week season will end with a playoff tournament. The cost is $65 per player or $500 for a 12-player team. At least three females must be on the field at all times.
A Tuesday coed dodgeball league will start in mid-September. Games will be played from 6-9 p.m. at the Woodland Community Center, located at 212 Parkview Street, in Houston Heights. The nine-week season will finish with a one-week playoff. The cost is $50 per player or $400 for an 11-player team. All teams must have at least three female players.
