Central Houston Inc. to hold annual meeting at Hilton Americas Houston Oct. 5
Central Houston Inc. will hold its 2012 meeting on Friday, Oct. 5.
Brookings Institution Vice President Bruce Katz will be the luncheon's keynote speaker. His address will discuss the economic core of Houston's coming years. Mayor Annise Parker and Harris County Judge Ed Emmett will also be on hand to make remarks. Central Houston Inc.'s Pam Gardner will preside over the meeting.
Central Houston Inc. is a private, nonprofit corporation composed of downtown and central city businesses in Houston, according to its website. Members meet to discuss community issues such as public safety, urban planning and general economic development.
The annual meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Americas Houston, located at 1600 Lamar St., in the Ballroom of the Americas.
The group encourages registration be completed by Friday, Sept. 21 for the luncheon. Registration can be completed online at centralhouston.org/Home/AboutCentralHouston/UpdateMeeting2106.
