HPARD to offer wheelchair tennis
The Houston Parks and Recreation Department will offer a free weekly wheelchair tennis program from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 through Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center.
This competition program is open to all children and adults with physical disabilities. Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States, according to a press release.
Registration for the program is required.
The Metropolitan Multi-Service Center is located at 1475 W. Gray in Houston.
