Tellepsen YMCA continues teen camp through Aug. 17

The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA in Houston is offering a camp for those 12 to 15 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through Aug. 17, according to a press release.

The YMCA is at 808 Pease St., Houston.

The YMCA offers a teen camp experience in a safe environment with a highly-trained, fun and energetic staff. The camp offers fun and exciting trips so teens won't feel like they are in a day camp but instead are with friends and enjoying their freedom from school.

The cost per teen is $160 for facility members and $200 for program members. Parents can register their teens at the Welcome Center, or online at www.ymcahouston.org/tellepsen-family.

The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday; 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
