Tellepsen YMCA offers teen camp through Aug. 17

The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA's teen camp experience offers weekly sessions through Friday, Aug. 17, according to a YMCA news release.

The camp, geared toward youths ages 12 to 15, is led by trained, energetic staff members, according to the release.

The teen camps are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to a YMCA representative.

Families can drop off teens at the facility beginning at 6:30 a.m., and campers can be picked up until 6:30 p.m., according to the YMCA spokesperson.

Fees for the camp are $160 per week for Tellepsen YMCA members; the cost is $200 per week for members who have paid only a program fee.

The Tellepsen YMCA is located at 800 Pease St., Houston.
