Falling picture in Heights Subway leads to lawsuit
A Harris County man is suing after, he says, a falling picture at a Heights-area Subway restaurant hit him in the back of the head.
Willis Carter filed a lawsuit on July 17 in Harris County District Court against G.R.A. Enterprises, citing negligence.
Carter says on May 21 he sustained injuries while sitting in the Subway at 3806 Shepherd in The Heights. According to the brief, he says a picture fell from the wall and hit him in the back of the head and neck.
The suit claims Subway should have warned customers about the dangerous conditions.
Carter is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Paula Higdon.
