YourTeacher release digital geometry textbook

YourTeacher has released a geometry iBooks textbook for iPad, exclusively available at the iBookstore, according to press release.

YourTeacher is a digital publisher that specializes in middle school, high school and college math. Its iBooks feature a personal math teacher built in to provide the “heavy lifting” instruction for every student, a feature unavailable in traditional textbooks. The iBooks also allow the students to complete the repetitive core instruction outside of class by “flipping the classroom,” which offers teachers the freedom to focus on higher-level concepts and one-on-one instruction.

"We have taken a completely fresh approach to defining what a math textbook can be on the iPad. By eliminating the hard-to-read math text in a traditional book and replacing it with an actual teacher, we give students a chance to easily learn from their textbooks.
