Houston Police investigate body found at 237 W. 18th St.

Police continue to investigate after finding a deceased woman on the kitchen floor of an apartment at 237 W. 18th St.

Officers found the woman's body while conducting a welfare check at approximately 11:05 p.m. July 29, according to a Houston Police Department news release.

Police say the victim's identity and cause of death will be released pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
