Discovery Green to hold kayak camps, classes

Discovery Green will host a kayaking camp starting in August.

Discovery Green will hold kayak camps and classes in August at 1500 McKinney, Houston.

Kayak camp will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 5 and is for kids age 5-16. Tickets are $5 per person.

Kayak classes take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and are free.

Both the camp and classes consist of a safety and instruction phase and a supervised paddling phase.
