Architecture Center Houston to hold film festival
Architecture Center Houston will hold a film festival Aug. 16 through Aug. 18. Films start at 7 p.m. each night.
The festival focuses on the effects of architecture and urban planning on culture, truths and myths about 20 th-century public housing in America, the growth of urban living centers and life in the suburbs.
"The Pruitt-Igoe" will be shown Aug. 16.
The films "My Playground" and "Radiant City" will be shown Aug. 17 and "Urbanized" will be shown Aug. 18.
Tickets cost $15 on Aug. 16 and Aug. 18 and $20 on Aug. 17.
Architecture Center Houston is at 315 Capitol, Suite 120.
