Boy Scouts donate stuffed animals to sheriff's office

The Sam Houston Area Council for the Boy Scouts of America donated more than 200 stuffed animals to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, which will give them to children involved in traumatic scenes such as minor traffic crashes or a death in the family.

The council collected the stuffed animals the week of June 4 during the annual Mustang District Cub Scout Day Camp, held at the Houston Farm and Ranch. Every year, about 300 campers attend the event.
