La Fisheria chef previews new reality show
The owner of the restaurant La Fisheria, Aquiles Chávez, now has his own reality show titled "Aquiles en Houston" on the Buenos Aires-based network Utilisima.
A preview of the show took place from 7-9 p.m. June 6 at La Fisheria. Chávez cooked his signature foods and provided guests with a sneak peak of what the new show will be about.
The show will follow the trials and tribulations of Aquiles Chávez and his family as they move away from Mexico and settle into their new life in Houston. From there, Chávez will attempt to follow his dreams by opening a Mexican seafood restaurant in Texas.
The show will be airing in every Latin American country.
La Fisheria is located at 4705 Inker St. in Houston. For more information, call the restaurant at 713-802-1712.
