GHCVB to address hotel association
Greg Ortale, president and CEO of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be meeting with the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston to discuss the future of the bureau.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. July 19 at the Doubletree by Hilton Houston Downtown at 400 Dallas. Reservations are required to attend, and admission is $50 per person ($35 for HLAGH members).
Ortale will be presenting a status report on the GHCVB and address its future direction and strategies.
Ortale served as executive vice president and general manager of the GHCVB from 1987-1997 before becoming president in 2007.
The Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston represents more than 250 hotels and industry-related businesses in the City of Houston. The organization is composed of managers and owners of hotels and lodging facilities, suppliers, service companies and consultants who work in the hospitality industry.
