Discovery Green offers kayak rides

Kayak rides are now being offered at Discovery Green, located at 500 McKinney.

The Buffalo Bayou Shuttle Services will be providing guided kayak rides along Kinder Lake.

A professional guide will pilot the kayaks. Children must be signed in by a parent or guardian, but parents do not have to ride.

Each ride will feature two laps around Kinder Lake.

Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Each ride costs $5 per person and accommodates two people.
