National Hurricane Center introduces new director

The newest director of the National Hurricane Center, Rick Knabb, was introduced to audiences at the 2012 Houston/Galveston National Weather Service Hurricane Workshop, the nation's largest hurricane preparedness event, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida De Las Americas.

Knabb was promoted to the post following Bill Read's retirement.
