Houston Web Awards to be held June 28

The second annual Houston Web Awards, hosted by the Houston Press to celebrate local individuals, organizations and businesses for their online and social efforts, will be from 7-10 p.m. Thursday, June 28 at the House of Dereon Media Center.

Awards will be presented in multiple categories, including Funniest Twitter Feed, Best for Blog, Best Designed Website and Best Use of Facebook, by celebrities such as Houston Texan Connor Barwin and rapper Bun B.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, with complimentary food and beverages served inside.

House of Dereon Media Center is located at 2204 Crawford St.
