Crockett Elementary students participated in the Cooperative for After-School Enrichment culinary cook-off last month.
Dania Gamez and Angel Soliz chopped vegetables for a salad as part of the cook-off. The two Crockett Elementary students participated with their classmates in the competition at the Northwestern Mutual Foundation World of Health Kids' Day, which wrapped up a 14-week after-school program geared toward teaching the students healthy eating and exercise habits.
