Raising Cane's opens 10th location in Houston
The Greater Heights Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, June 14, attended by many local business members, for the new Raising Cane's restaurant in the Houston Heights.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers' 10th restaurant in the Houston area opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, June 14.
Based in Louisiana, the chain's first Houston location opened in June 2005. The new restaurant is located at 3007 Ella Blvd.
"Opening the 10th Houston Raising Cane's is definitely a milestone for us," Raising Cane's founder and CEO Todd Graves said in a press release. "Houstonians have really embraced Raising Cane's, and we look forward to being an active community partner in the area surrounding our new Ella Boulevard restaurant."
As part of its efforts to be involved in the community, employees from the Ella Boulevard location helped out with painting at Lutheran North Community Center on June 8. Raising Cane's has a company tradition of taking part in some kind of community service before opening a new restaurant.
Raising Cane's currently has 128 locations in 16 states and was recently recognized for its customer service for the fifth year in a row in a study by Sandelman and Associates, according to the release.
