Several musicians, and even a special beer, are on tap at the Contemporary Arts Museum's annual Steel Lounge Underground music event.

Steel Lounge Underground, 8 p.m. to midnight on July 13, is a free event presented by Derek Jones and Josh Zulu of Soular Grooves.

Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. has crafted a special beer inspired by the event which it will sell along with its Hibiscus Wit Beer. Food trucks and a cash bar also will be available.

Set to perform are Pablo Gimenez-Zapiloa, Suraj K., Esteban Torres, DJ Baby Jae and Omari Tau.

While listening to the music, guests can view group exhibitions, including "It is what it is. Or is it?" in the Brown Foundation Gallery. The exhibit will explore the evolution of readymade art and is curated by Dean Daderko.
