Heights residents named in dog bite suit
A Heights-area couple is being sued over claims their dog attacked a young girl.
Edgar Vasquez, on behalf of his young daughter, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, June 6 in the Harris County District Court against Heights residents Mark and Jamie Kujawa, citing negligence per se.
Vasquez says on July 6, 2010, the defendants' dog attacked his daughter while she was at their Heights-area home, located in the 5400 block of Briarwood Forest Drive. According to the brief, the Kujawas failed to restrain their dog as required under city ordinances.
Vasquez is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney John Farneti Jr.
