Design shop owner buys 3BD home in Garden Oaks

Garth Franklin Williams acquired a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 4609 Carleen Road in Oak Forest/Garden Oaks from Robert C. Reeves Jr. on March 1.

The 1,710-square-foot house, built in 1954, is in the Oak Forest subdivision.

Williams is the owner of COOP Design Shop. Previously, he was director for sales and marketing at Travis Software.

He holds a master's degree in architecture from the University of Houston and a B.S. in speech communication from the University of Texas-Austin.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 582 home sales in Oak Forest/Garden Oaks during the past 12 months.
