Meredith and Robert S. Marchand acquired a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 4636 Pineridge St. in Greater Heights from Marc L. Buursink on Feb. 24.

Buursink acquired the 1,343-square-foot home in the North Norhill subdivision from Elizabeth D. Lane in May 2007. The house was built in 1930 and is valued at $293,038.

Mr. Buursink is a research geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, where he also worked as a hydrologist. He previously was a research earth scientist at Chevron and a research fellow at Boise State University.

He attended Boise State University, the University of Connecticut and the University of Virginia.
