CiCi's Pizza to open first restaurant in Heights

CiCi's Pizza is opening a new location Friday, June 8 in Merchant's Park shopping center.

According to a press release, the first 100 guests to purchase an adult buffet at the new location will receive a free pizza buffet each month for a year.

The restaurant is located at 935 N. Shepherd Drive and will open at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8. KRBE-FM will broadcast live at the restaurant on opening day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The press release stated that the new restaurant will be celebrated by the 37 other Houston-area CiCi's, all of which are offering two $3.99 pizza specials. Guests can visit participating CiCi's from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays for CiCi's custom pizza buffet for $3.99 with the purchase of a drink. A large one-topping pizza is available for carryout for $3.99.

The new restaurant is owned by Amer Rehman and Uzi Rasheed, who own and operate multiple CiCi's restaurants in the area.

The restaurant is open for dine-in and carryout from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
