River Oaks real estate company sued after man falls in hole
A River Oaks real estate services company is being sued over claims unsafe conditions at one of its properties caused a man to trip and fall.
Joan Hudson, as next of friend to Cornelius Hawkins, filed a lawsuit on May 21 in Harris County District Court against Orion Real Estate Services, headquartered in River Oaks, citing negligence.
Hudson says on Sept. 26, 2011, Hawkins suffered severe injuries when he tripped and fell in a hole in the ground at a Houston-area property owned by Orion Real Estate.
Hudson is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Rodney Moton.
