Registration opens for annual Heights Fun Run
Registration is now open for the 27th annual Heights Fun Run, one of Houston's most popular small runs, scheduled for June 2.
The scenic 5K course is on Heights Boulevard, beginning and ending at Marmion Park. A post-race party will be held, with an awards ceremony to follow. Entertainment, door prizes and refreshments will be provided.
The 5K Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m., the 5K walk starts at 7:35 a.m. and the Kids 1K will start at 8:30 a.m. All kids who participate will receive an award, and all participants will receive a commemorative cotton shirt.
