The historic Majestic Metro is an architectural gem located in the heart of downtown Houston. It was originally built in 1926 as a downtown movie palace by famed architect William Ward Watkin, who also designed the Houston Museum of Fine Arts and Rice University. In 1990 the building was fabulously restored and transformed into one of the city's most unique rental ballroom and banquet facilities. The Majestic Metro is available for weddings, receptions, private parties and corporate events.
